WHO WE ARE

Khalifa Al Khalifa obtained his bachelors degree in international relations from Geneva, Switzerland, with a specialization in psychology and a certificate in human rights. Following that, he obtained a graduate certificate in nonprofit management, and, finally, a master's degree in political communication from Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC. Khalifa has worked at the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in Geneva, taking part in several high profile conventions and summits at the heart of global diplomacy, along with a number of other UN agencies, establishing a global network of ties. He is the founder of Visionaries Bahrain, an organization dedicated to empowering youth and propelling sustainable development, before converting it into a subsidiary of Starlight Consulting. During that time, Khalifa oversaw the growth of that organization from a local nonprofit to an international institution with global acclaim, having organized countless programs and events. Khalifa is also a published author. His novel, Dissensus, is available worldwide.

Ali Al Araifi obtained his bachelor's degree in international relations from Edinburgh, Scotland, followed by a master's degree in public policy from the University of Edinburgh. He began his work in the field as a contributing editor to Eyes on Humanity, a Bahrain-based independent human rights magazine, and later being promoted to head of communications, gaining significant experience in communication and journalism and establishing ties with international bodies. He later worked at the Information Affairs Authority in the department of international media, helping to establish links with international news anchors and journalists. Ali also worked at the Ministry of Communication, gaining experience in the telecommunications field, and received first-hand experience in ministerial management through shadowing the minister in various events and meetings. Ali joins Khalifa as the co-founder of Visionaries, serving as a board member and overseeing several key departments such as media and public relations, and organizing a number of significant events and programs.
